Noticed a change in organic impressions or page rankings?
This might be why: although there has been no official announcement, Google appears to have stopped the use of the &num=100 parameter.
This parameter was designed to enable 100 results as the default display rather than 10 and was used by tracking tools and bots to gather larger amounts of data with fewer queries.
The impact of this might be few impressions showing in Google Search Console and possibly higher rankings.
Watch this space for what comes next, including any announcements from Google!
LinkedIn Posts not performing as well?
You’re not alone, algorithm changes mean LI has been prioritising paid over organic with approximately 40% of feed space being allocated to advertisers.
Company page posts fare worse than individuals and the declines are significant. What can you do about it?
Post more, connect more, comment more, and focus on personal, niche content with strong opening lines and compelling visuals.
And even then, paid content must be part of your overall strategy.
